rainy wednesday

Today was a rainy and cold Wednesday. So much for our last Wednesday play date at the pool!
Josh and I enjoyed our last Wednesday play date at home. We had some lunch and then started in on a craft project. Josh put together a frame for each of his teachers to give them tomorrow. He was so cute about it and calculating. He wanted to make sure neither teacher felt he liked one better and made the frames and cards the exact same.

He has loved both of his teachers this year and I have been lucky that they were such great teachers. Particularly in his afternoon class, he has been able to do some neat projects and activities.

Afterwards it was straight to the toy closet. Being the army man that he is, all of his army dudes were pulled out in force and the house became the battlefield.

He was excited to see Michelle and roped her into the war when she came over. That's when I sneaked out :-D

Tomorrow is the last day of school, so our play dates are over for the year. And he will be at school full days next year. I am so lucky I was able to work it out to have these weekly play dates with him!
