Day number 2 and there was no agenda. And isn't that really what vacation is all about?! We took our time getting up this morning. Josh and I played in the room while Mims slept in. But eventually we got moving.
Josh and Mims were both STARVING by the time we got to breakfast and had a hard time waiting for our food. Granted, breakfast was at the time of lunch, but that really shouldn't be an issue.
After, we headed straight back to the hotel to enjoy the sun rays and some pool time. Josh could easily play for hours and well, of course I could sit in the sun for hours. Mims used to be the sun goddess, but I think I haven't taken over that title as of now.
We got ourselves cleaned up this afternoon and headed over to downtown Disney. Josh still had plenty of cash burning a hole in his pocket and couldn't wait to pick out some fun souvenirs. First stop the Lego store. Next on his list Build-a-bear, then the candy store, then over to the Disney store...I was lucky to squeeze in one stop at the jewelry store!
After spending our cash, we went for some dinner at what I think is the best Mexican restaurant around, El Torito. I honestly crave their salsa. Dinner was delicious!
We have done a whole lot of nothing today and are ready to crash. Tomorrow a full day back at Disneyland and California Adventure. Josh can't wait to get back on the Indiana Jones ride!
