a softball weekend

Its that time of year...high school softball is in full swing starting with the tournament down in St. George. I have gone done the last couple of years to support my coaching friends and this year was no exception. Goose, Mims & I headed drove down to St. George on Thursday evening and got up and ready to do some shopping first thing Friday morning. We had plenty of bags to fill the car!

Mims and Goose played twenty questions in the front seat while I was found most often in the back seat reading and reading. I love vacation!
Goose, Laurie, and myself grabbing some grub at Cafe Rio. We were the cutest chicks in St. George this weekend!

We had a little bit of sun, but the air temperature was not as warm as I had hoped. We stayed bundled for the first game on Friday night.
This beautiful storm hit Saturday and needless to say we were bundled up and then gave up watching the Eagles. We had to go in for cover and some Pizza Factory pizza of course!

Karen and JoyLynn roughing their way through the storm...die hard softball fans.

Coach Long in her element...strutting her stuff on the softball field.

The Skyline Eagles played five games in all this weekend and have a good starting off place for their season. We had fun even though the weather could have been better, but after all it was about supporting Denice. GO EAGLES!
