Day 2

Day 2 of a fabulous birthday vacation. We started the morning by sleeping in...of course. My parents went to a temple session and had a timeshare presentation. Michelle, Josh, & I used that time to have breakfast, enjoy the view, and have a relaxing morning. Nothing like being on vacation with not a care in the world.

Of course after that it was time to hit the swimming pools. There are 5 in the hotel complex. We found a perfect one for us and settled in to enjoying the warmth from the sun and planning with the water volleyball. I think we all could have sat here all day!

After the pool, Josh needed a bit to eat to get ready for the rest of our day,

which entailed a trip to the playground and of course a round of golf!

We then headed to Fashion Island for some yummy food at Red Robin. Josh was so excited to get another birthday song and desert. Fashion Island is known for its 300 plus stores. We took advantage of the beautiful outdoor mall and scenery, and did some window shopping as well.

We finished our site seeing with a drive over to downtown Newport to get some new Crab Cooker t-shirts. And what would be a trip to California without at least one stop at Jacks? We grabbed a few t-shirts there as well.

Once back at our room, the hand & foot rematch was on. However, the luck tide has not changed and my mom and Michelle beat me and my dad again. We will try again tomorrow. Thanks for taking a great pic Josh!
