Billy Joel ROCKS!

Can't beat a Billy Joel concert. Last night I went with my BFF, my brother, and his girlfriend to the Billy Joel concert at was once the Delta Center. That man can ROCK & has a sense of humor too. We had a blast!

Playtime...Have to Love Wednesdays!

Josh and I decided to play at home and take advantage of a warm house on such a cold day!

We started with some legos....
Then some goofing around.... (josh's favorite pose lately)
Next we moved into a Christmas craft project, painting a santa decoration...

The final product turned out well. Josh loves to do arts & crafts. We finished up the afternoon with some snuggling under blankets and reading a story, and of course the showing of the Polar Express, a classic Christmas movie. We love our Wednesday time together!

Santa...we are ready!

Josh helped me get the house all decorated and ready for Christmas. When we finished, Josh sat down to read a Christmas story complete with his homemade Christmas pillowcase from his aunt Amy. I think we are ready for Santa!

GAME NIGHT

Games, games, & more games. My brother Jordan, his girlfriend Kari, and my BFF Michelle came over for game night. We played into the wee hours my new favorite game Wackee Six and the wii. Games anyone?

Getting ready for Christmas!

Christmas is just around the corner. I got the lights up and the porch decorated. Now I just need to finish getting the inside of my house decorated!

Thanksgiving School Feast

The feast started with a Thanksgiving story and then a quick fire drill. Mrs. Speigel told the kindergarteners about the drill so they could have their coats.

After the drill, it was time for a Thanksgiving meal with a vegetable soup all the students help prepare and self made butter. The butter was harder to make than it looked! The day before the feast, all the students made pilgrim and indian hats and pick what to wear to the feast. Most of Josh's class were indians, but his table was half and half.

Josh ate the pumpkin pie, but wouldn't even try the soup...go figure!

Wednesday Fun

Its a Wednesday afternoon....time for play! Josh & I decided on the Dinosaur Muesum at Thanksgiving Point for our activity. What a blast that place is!






There is a hands on area where you can see how the dinosaurs may have become extinct. Josh built damns and then broke them down to create flash floods burying the dinos in sand and water.

ITS WEDNESDAY!

Every Wednesday, Josh and I take the afternoon to play. We have been lucky to have Aunt Heidi and Cousin Dylan come with us the last few weeks. This week Michelle also was able to play. We started at Cheesecake Factory, YUM, and then headed for Build-a-Bear.

We chose our animals, Josh a dino and Dylan a puppy. Then we got sounds, stuffing, and added hearts.
Josh made sure to give both pets good baths and fur cleanings.
Then we picked out an outfit. Dylan decided he wanted no clothes on his. Josh picked a firefighter outfit.We named the dino Fire Fighter Deck, named after a firefighter that Josh met in person at Bonneville. Josh typed in all the information all by himself!

We had a great afternoon. Josh loves being with his new cousin. Thanks for holding Dylan Mims!

GO GREEN NUMBER 6!

Josh has been enjoying playing soccer for the last 8 weeks. Tonight was his last game. He did a great job and played all but the last 5 minutes, the most any of his teammates played.

Halloween started with the Bonneville Elementary Halloween parade through the
school. Josh was excited to be one of two Storm Troopers in his class.

Went trick or treating at Foothill Village with my new cousin Dylan.

Ended an eventful day at the Monsen's for a mini Halloween party and more trick or treating adventures. We had a great Halloween day!
